about me
For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a camera in my hand. As a child, I would bring the roll of film to the local drug store to be developed. I would wait patiently until the prints were back and then flip through them right there in the store.
In high school, I began using a dark room and playing with exposures and enlargers and couldn’t believe how exciting it was to create your own images. As technology progressed, I switched from film to digital, and now with cameras on our phones, I’m never without one! Want to guess how many pictures I have on my phone?
Looking back at any of the photographs I take, whether professional or personal, I’m reminded that spending time with the people you love is what matters most in life. Sometimes a photo is all that you have left of someone you love, so to me, there is no such thing as too many photos. They make time stand still even when the whole world seems to move on. And being able to capture those beautiful moments is what I truly love. People are so captivating in their own unique ways and it is my passion to capture life and love in genuine ways that reflect each person.
When I’m not photographing, I’m venturing the world with my husband, our three young kids and our two fur-babies and spending time with our families. I love to travel and meet new people, so please contact me anytime!
